Our Accounting organization:
In Sweden, we are approximately 70 professionals working in the accounting department, responsible for all areas of the Volvo Cars’ business, working in multicultural and diverse teams. We are a company with Purpose – and we promote a culture of curiosity, collaboration and making a difference. What we do:
At Accounting, we are part of the global team that drives the business to realize the objectives set out in Volvo Car Group’s Corporate Strategy, by providing accounting expertise and guidance as well as handling the day-to-day accounting and reporting. We succeed by having a full understanding of business operations and the ability to translate complex business events into the language of accounting and financial reporting.

Upcoming and Open Roles:
During 2023, we expect to be looking primarily for senior-, expert of- and manager-level positions in Volvo Cars' accounting department headquartered in Gothenburg.

What you’ll bring:
We expect that you will have a university degree in Accounting, Economics, or relevant field, combined with solid previous experience in the following: 

• Preparation, evaluation, monitoring and reporting monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial figures.
• Working with complex accounting questions in according to Swedish GAAP and IFRS. 
• Skills to manage, analyze and interpret large volumes of data 

Our business language is English and you should therefore be able to communicate complex information in written and spoken English.
