The Role

The Payment Methods Business Performance Insights team is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Business Analyst with experience in SQL, dashboarding tools (Qliksense, Tableau, or PowerBI), financial analytics, and an interest in banking and financial reporting. 

As a member of our team, you will work closely with various competencies across the organization, to maximize the impact from analytics and make data-driven product decisions.

The Team

Our team Business Planning Insights (BPI) is our management’s trusted source when it comes to data analytics. We represent the gold standard when it comes to data-driven decisioning and provide best-in-class tooling to all of our stakeholders. In addition, we take end-to-end ownership of Klarna’s forecast models and product profitability. We work proactively with our stakeholders to monitor, manage, and respond to changes in key domain KPIs and business metrics such as indirect spend.

Responsibilities
    • Generate and communicate insights and recommendations to drive product decisions.
    • Forecast and analyze the financial performance of various payment methods.
    • Build analytical models to better understand complex business cases.
    • Structure and organize large data sets to create reliable and actionable insights.
    • Create Qliksense applications for reporting and driving novel insights.
    • Define and evaluate relevant KPIs related to Klarna’s payment methods.
    • Work cross-functionally with other competencies to maximize the impact from analytics.
Requirements
    • A degree from a university in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Engineering).
    • 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
    • Strong SQL skills, as well as experience working with dashboarding tools such as Qliksense, Tableau, or PowerBI.
    • Good understanding of, and interest in, financial reporting and lending business models.
    • Strong communication skills, including experience presenting insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently and with other analysts to drive projects from conception to completion.
    • Technical or Financial background is a plus
