Job Description

You work as CAD engineer for heat pump appliance development in design team

Propose and drive own mechanical solutions

  • Deliver design solutions (with focus on hydraulic system) considering function, cost, quality, and manufacturing etc.
  • Produce 3D model for assembly as well as 2D drawings for components
  • Create product Bill of Material (BOM) and drive introduction into production

Provide complete mechanical design solutions for heat pump appliance as a whole

  • Manage requirement engineering (RE) and link RE to fulfilment
  • Break down and track tasks considering requirements, timeline, and priority
  • Integrate mechanical designs from different modules

Contribute to design team development

  • Enhance team competence in documentation and software
  • Strive for design improvement by collaborating with other teams, and by supervising master thesis and internship

Qualifications

Education:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent (master’s degree preferred)

Technical skills required:

  • Mechanical knowledge in material, mechanics, and fluid dynamics etc.
  • Working experience as CAD engineer in industry
  • Proficiency with NX or other CAD software

Technical skills preferred:

  • Design knowledge in hydraulic components
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Refrigeration application background
  • Experience in Teamcenter and SAP
  • Practical skills such as pipe bending, brazing, sample building etc.

Personal skills

  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Able to work independently with problem solving mindset
  • Able to work in a team environment
