As a backend-focused Staff Engineer, you will have a unique opportunity to influence and craft the technical strategy for our Retail Hub platform. This platform serves as a "one-stop shop" portal, empowering our retailers to deliver exceptional customer experiences with the latest tools and technologies.

What you'll do

In this role, your technical leadership will extend beyond our cluster. You'll collaborate with neighboring clusters and strategic partnerships, driving initiatives that shape the overall product vision and strategy.

You'll be at the forefront of technology, contributing to the architecture and strategy of exciting platforms Retail Hub.

Get ready for an adrenaline rush as you architect, design, develop, deploy, and operate the core services and systems that power Volvo Cars' data-driven transformation.

Your deep expertise will make you the go-to person in your field, setting strategic directions and serving as a mentor and role model for our senior engineers and leaders.

But that's not all! You'll also be a catalyst for innovation, encouraging sound engineering practices and driving our technical strategy and roadmaps.

As an inspiring leader, you'll be an integral part of our vibrant engineering community, constantly expanding your knowledge and sharing insights through various channels like lunch-and-learns,
