What You’ll Do
The Group Accounting team consists today of thirteen dedicated employees. We are responsible for the Volvo Cars consolidation and for providing financial data on consolidated level for Volvo Car Group to ensure timely, accurate and uniform data to internal and external parties. 

As an Expert within Group Accounting you will be part of our responsibility to prepare the Group Financial statements in accordance to IFRS. The deliveries include the financial section of the Group Annual Report as well as the Interim Reports. Other responsibilities within the group that you will be a part of is to coordination the group external audit, external reporting to one of the owners, and Group Actual Analysis. We also provide guidance to the organization in IFRS related questions and participate in different projects within digitalization of Group consolidation but also Accounting processes and Accounting Governance/ IFRS related questions. 

Working in the Group Accounting team gives you a big opportunity to a wide circle of contacts within Volvo Cars, working globally and cross-functionally, as well as getting a comprehensive view of the financial activities within the group. 

What you’ll bring
You have an academic degree within Finance/Accounting with extended accounting experience, preferably combined with consolidation experience. Experience from global finance operations is a plus. You need to be well experienced within IFRS accounting policy. Since the Volvo Car Group’s external reports are presented in both English and Swedish it is essential that you are fluent in both languages, verbal and written.
You are positive, flexible, driven and you have a solution-oriented mindset. You take ownership for any given task. It is important that you are structured and well-organized and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have a genuine interest in accounting combined with analytical skills and are looking to develop your skills in these areas. As an Expert it is also important that you are motivated by working independently and being collaborative at the same time, being able to contribute on our exciting journey ahead.
