The Manufacturing Engineering department drives the global development and implementation of manufacturing processes at Volvo Car Engine. We develop the manufacturing solutions for future propulsion powertrains in cross-functional collaboration with Research & Development and Purchasing.

We need a number of new colleagues with competences in the following areas:

• Manufacturing Technologies, Mechanical Engineering, and Automation
• Internal Combustion Engines and Electric Machines
• Manufacturing Strategies and Project Management
• Manufacturing Systems, Discrete Event Simulation, Flow, and Line Design
• Productivity Engineering and Industrial Engineering
• Virtual Methods and Tools Development

Research and specialist positions are available within the above areas.

Specific positions we are recruiting for:

• Manufacturing Engineer
• Tooling Engineer
• Verification Engineer (gauging and engine testing)
• Project Manager
• Simulation Engineer
• Virtual Methods and Tools Development

Required qualifications

• University degree or equivalent
• Relevant experience from at least one, preferably several, of the above mentioned work areas
• Fluent in English both written and spoken

• Problem solving skills
• Strong communication capability
• Open-minded, flexible
• Leadership skills and ability to work within a team environment
