Background
At Ericsson Research we perform research on the next generation mobile technology as well as existing technologies. Part of this work involves analyzing simulation data. Another part of the work involves presenting the findings, both internal and external. For external demonstrations we have developed a visualization platform where simulation results can be presented. An example is the App coverage demonstrator seen in this video .
Thesis Description
The objective of this thesis is to build an analysis application for simulation results based on the current visualization platform. The work will involve create new and extend existing customized JavaFX controls to form an analysis toolbox, building an easy to use and visually appealing analysis application. As a further step the thesis could also include develop a procedure for building a feature demonstrator from an analysis performed with the analysis application.
The project should be carried out at Ericsson Research department of Wireless Access Networks in Kista, Stockholm.
Qualifications
You are a Master of Science (civilingenjör) student in computer science or media. You are a quick learner and have the ability to identify problems and see solutions. You have several of the following competences:
