We are looking for an experienced agile team manager to lead our people in the Digital Collaboration & Personal Productivity cluster within our Digital Workplace area.
This cluster provides digital tools and training to ensure efficient collaboration and productivity in the hybrid workplace. Our employees should be offered easy-to-use technology to support digital meetings, instant messaging, whiteboarding, team spaces and much more. Today, we offer users a variety of tools, such as the Microsoft 365 suite, Slack and Miro.
Our vision is to inspire as well as to increase productivity. To achieve this, we are on a change path, shifting from a technology centric to a human centric approach. To enable this change, you will play an important part in driving the shift and motivate our teams in their change journey.
What you’ll do
As a servant leader you will coach the team to deliver incremental deliveries with speed and quality, and to continuously learn and collaborate. You are responsible for overseeing the working methodology and facilitating initiatives. As part of your role, you make sure that the team has all the ingredients needed to deliver at its best.
You work closely with the Group Product Owner and Product Owners to support the teams, their purpose, and the roadmap ahead. Furthermore, you ensure that the teams collaborate across the organization to ensure capabilities are solved end to end. You are coaching the teams and individuals in their daily work by being present and attentive. You always ensure to bring clarity and understanding of the vision, objectives and key results, to enable the teams to thrive.
You are responsible for all employee-related processes (e.g., salary setting, appraisals, priorities, recruitment) and helping members of the teams identify areas of strength and opportunities. Working together to find ways to build their skills and improve against the relevant product competencies and Volvo Core competencies. In collaboration with other people managers in the area, you are responsible for competence development, assuring capabilities are in line with the long-term strategies.
You will report directly to the head of the Digital Workplace area and play an important role in the Digital Workplace leadership team.
The position is based in Gothenburg.
What you’ll bring
• Solid experience of managerial roles, Scrum Master positions or equivalent leadership roles, preferably in the Digital Collaboration domain.
• Prior experience managing Agile/Scrum teams including staffing, hiring and. supporting employee growth.
• Strong communication skills, understanding of change management. A high level of verbal and written English.
• Good understanding of the principles of product development and the software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency.
