Assistant Ships Agent for Cruise ships i Stockholm

The work entails handling administration, logistics and operations for various international cruise lines, and their cruise ships calling Swedish ports.

Duties:

- Assist Ship's Agent with administration; manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)

- Ships clearance in Sweden (Stockholm & other Swedish cruise ports)

- Contact with Swedish ports and authorities etc.

- Contact with international clients, and cruise ship agencies worldwide

- Work with Swedish immigration, service providers, and suppliers

- Handle various requests from cruise ships

- Book and coordinate crew transfers & hotels, medicals, provisions, purchases et cetera

We are looking for the following:

- Fluent in English and Swedish (in writing and speech)

- Excellent verbal communication skills

- International work experience

- Flexible, service minded, and excellent organizational skills

- Likes to work in a hectic, challenging environment

- MS Office & business software skills

- Flexible with working hours, including late evenings and weekends

- Knowledge of Stockholm and Swedish culture & society

- Driving License and access to car preferred

- Experience from ship agency, cruise, hotel, tourism et cetera desired

The workplace will be in the Stockholm office at Södermalm.

Two positions available:

Seasonal work: 1 February - 30 September, 2017

Seasonal work: 1 April - 30 August, 2017
