H&M is looking for a strong project manager to our Business Development team at Global Expansion.

The Expansion function at H&M is responsible for all aspects of creating our H&M stores globally; to lease, design, draw, buy and build each store. In 2015 a net total of 413 new stores were added and we aim to continue this growth and increase the number of stores by 10 – 15 % per year. In this we need to continuously work with having best in class processes, tools and set-up to manage our rapid growth.

As a project manager in the Business Development team, you will be part of our mission to drive change and innovation to efficiently improve our way of working to support H&M and Expansion long term vision and goals. You will report to the head of Business Development at Expansion and work closely with the central expansion department in Stockholm, as well as the expansion teams in our markets and other key stakeholders within the H&M group.

The position is a permanent full time position and placed in central Stockholm.

Your responsibilities

The job of a project manager at Expansion Business Development comes with lots of responsibility – and lots of fun. Your to do-list includes:

• Overall responsible to identify, lead and coordinate business development initiatives
• Set strategy, vision and goals for processes in scope in line with H&M and Expansion long term vision and goals
• Secure and drive change management activities on a global level
• Work close with departments and key stakeholders within H&M to identify, coordinate and drive initiatives
• Overall business case and budget responsibility for initiatives

Your skills

Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a sales-minded, social, open, communicative and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. Your personal qualities also include:

• 5-8 years of professional work experience within consulting, business development and /or project management positions or similar
• University degree within Business or Engineering
• Structured, analytical with excellent project management skills
• Strong leadership potential and communication skills
• A strong business mind set and experience from driving business change projects in an international environment
• Entrepreneurial; good at identifying new opportunities, challenging current working methods and thinking outside the box
• Fluent in English
• Experience from Retail industry is meriting
