Solution Architect to Business Intelligence Operation i Stockholm, Stockholms län

Do you want to play a key role in delivering a stable, well performing and secure infrastructure and application environment to one of Sweden’s largest Data Warehouse?

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to our BI Operation team that is operating H&Ms Data Warehouse platforms. They are mainly used by functions in the selling organization in order to follow up the business. The Data Warehouse solutions are important systems at H&M.

As a Solution Architect you are a given solution/technical spokesman within architectural governance. You will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating the technical solutions and the system requirements. You will handle the operational assessments, durability, evaluations and the technical manageability and roadmaps. You will also take lead on the proactive architectural work and design solutions on existing infrastructure environment.

In the role as solution architect you will have a close collaboration with our development department, and their architects, to get a deep understanding of the requirements on the platform and our customers’ needs for our services. In order to create and maintain a stable, scalable, sustainable and high available integration platform you will also have a close collaboration with our Infra Services department, and their architects, as they are providing many vital parts of our technical platform.

To succeed in this role we believe that you have deep technical and functional knowledge as well as broad overall experience of Business Intelligence. You have the ability and genuine interest in building good relations as you in your role will cooperate between different teams, both technical and non-technical. The role requires you to be analytical and structured in your approach and have the ability to work solution oriented and see the big picture. Your responsibilities

The job of a Solution Architect comes with lots of responsibility and of course lots of fun. Among other things your tasks includes:

- Act as expert in designated area and assist and support developers, architects and others in architectural related issues

- Responsible for maintaining/coordinating the technical solutions and system quality requirements for application within our area BI

- Lead the proactive architectural work and design solutions on existing infrastructure environment (reuse before rebuild)

- Link between Area Architects in the development divisions as well as architects and engineers in the infrastructure, and together identify & design optimal technical solutions

- Work with innovation and propose improvements in existing solutions

- You will work as a technical specialist in various internal projects

- Technical and Operation experience of business critical systems in an enterprise (complex and distributed) environment with high availability requirements

- Long and broad technical competence (servers, OS, middleware, software architecture, etc.)

- Ability to understand and quickly grasp new technology

- NZ/Infra & environment or adequate DB platform

- BI Architecture

- Database knowledge

- Very good communication skills, verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English
