Project Leader - Expansion & Capacity, Global Logistics, Stockholm

The H&M Group is growing. In 2016 we opened more than 400 new stores all over the world and entered several new Retail and Online markets. This expansion, in combination with increasing customer expectations and ambitious business goals, calls for great logistics.

Expansion & Capacity department is part of H&M Global Logistics and responsible for developing the warehouse network required to support our expansion. We build the logistics network of the future by ensuring that we have the right set-up of efficient, high quality and sustainable warehouses for all our brands and channels. We balance lead time, cost and availability to select the right locations for our warehouses in new and existing markets. We negotiate the best possible third party operations, MHE and lease deals for H&M and secure that the house is up and running on time.

Main responsibilities:

• Take an active part in setting the project strategies in order to reach our long-term goals
• Plan and drive expansion projects including goal setting, budget, business case and time line
• Work with strategic analysis, pre-studies and capacity analysis
• Prepare and participate in negotiations
• Establishment of warehouses of various sizes and hand over to operations
• Constantly evaluate and improve ways of working and tools
• Collaborate with other Project Leaders and Expansion Managers within the
• Expansion and Capacity team as well as local country organisations and other functions
  

We believe you have:

• A degree in business/engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience of and a passion for logistics and networks
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse stock and capacity demands, centre of gravity, business cases etc. and draw and present conclusions in a structured and clear manner
• Ability to simplify complex questions, challenge and find new solutions
• Leadership qualities with strong and clear communication skills
• Strong business sense. Experience from negotiations is a plus
• Strong track record of delivering results
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• The possibility and willingness to travel
