The Global ICT Center (GIC) Rosersberg is one of three major Ericsson sites, where we provide hardware and infrastructure for remote use by organizations within Ericsson Business Units and external users worldwide. 

Job Summary:

A Facility Infrastructure Engineer is involved in the planning and development of the GIC IT and Test Environment in the areas power, cooling, space and infrastructure. You will be a member of a dedicated and  experienced team of engineers, that is responsible for these areas for the whole site.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and design solutions in the area of  power, cooling space and infrastructure
• Document the existing and changing environment in a dedicated database (DCIM)
• Monitor power, cooling and lab space usage
• Forecast future changes according to the needs of the users, and to ensure stable operations
• Participate in negotiations with users and suppliers
• Lead and manage change and development projects in the areas of power, cooling, and infrastructure

• Sound competence in handling power, cooling, infrastructure in a IT and test environment
• Experience in building and rebuilding labs
• Forecasting and financial competence
• Project management competence is an advantage
