Within Saab IT PMO we walk the extra mile to support the business of Saab. We are responsible for preparation, execution and hand-over Saab internal IT programs and projects as well as reporting Saab internal IT project portfolio, managing prioritization and working with forecasting and planning for the resource needs based on scenario planning and business prioritization.

Based on the successful execution of Saab´s current business plan we are experiencing an increasing need to drive change as programs and projects and we are in the middle of this exciting flow of opportunities. We focus on excellence in the way we execute programs/projects and we work with continuous improvements. The projects are run in cooperation across Saab and include our partners.

Right now in the portfolio we have one program with the purpose of harmonizing the personal IT workplace and infrastructure across Saab. It is called "the Global program" and most of the projects are run outside of Sweden with program management in Sweden. We are looking for a new program manager for this and we also see other programs coming along.

The area of responsibility within Saab IT PMO is to run internal IT projects either if it is new development, support end-customer business, upgrades or deployments last but not least we are also working in the IT technical forefront with solutions within the digitalization of Saab and our development environments. All programs and projects are run in close cooperation with various stakeholders in the business.

Our global program need a new program manager since the present one is going onto new challenges within Saab. The new program manager must continue to secure an even further improve the efficient execution of the program until the finish in 2018, preferably during Q3. Included in this work is to continue to build a team of project managers and to take the cooperation with DXC, the partner, to the next level.

After the successful finish of the global program this role will take on other programs within Saab internal IT. The program manager will be involved in recruitment of project managers and coaching and development of them as well as improving ways of working. In general we see an increased number of projects that would do good from being grouped into programs, they may have organizational, technical, competence or time-line dependencies that would make it more effiicient to run them as programs.

As a program manager within Saab IT you will be an important contributor to the success of the company by managing programs timely and efficiently to support the business needs. The global program is in need of a new program manager who will secure an efficienty exectution until the finish during 2018. Included in the work is to continue to build a team of projects managers and take the cooperation with DXC, the partner, to the next level and implement an improved way of working with the whole progarm and its ingoing projects.

All our projects work in close cooperation with corporate security, the Business Units, Market areas, partners and sometimes with authorities. This role requires good knowledge of Swedish and Swedish citizenship. We are well on the way to implementing a global ICT organization which means that your colleagues will be working also outside of Sweden. This role requires travelling within and outside of Sweden.

Internal IT is first of all a service organization and exists for the benefit of the business. In order to be successful you need to understand how to best support our business day-to-day as well as 1-4 years ahead. We think you are result-oriented, persistent, engaged and with excellent communication skills. You have a background in IT- and development program and project mgmt of complex programs and projects and you are familiar with working with variuos partners as a setup for success. You know your economics and have an analytic mindset and a drive to always deliver on time with quality.

You have a way of empowering your fellow co-workers and project team members to go the extra mile and you can both take on the helicopter perspective as well as digging into details when it is needed. You strive to improve your ways of working and to give your team the best possible prerequisites to succeed. You see a failure as a way of improving your knowledge and do better next time and you show good judgement and you have a proven record of successfully managing projects and programs in complex environments.

We think you have a relevant university degree and that you work today within IT as program- /project manager or line manager and we want you to have good knowledge about some project management methods. We also believe you need excellent negotiation skills to succeed in this position. This position requires excellent skills in English and knowledge of other languages is a merit.

If you have worked and lived abroad for Saab or for other companies in relevant markets it will also be considered a merit
