At Sandvik we are currently using PeopleSoft as our global HCM solution but there is an ongoing project with the aim of replacing PeopleSoft with Workday, a cloud-based HCM solution. We are now looking for a Technical Solution Architect for the cloud-based HCM solution to join us in Sandviken, and we offer you an exciting role in a changing environment.Welcome to a position where you interact and collaborate with our entire organization, actively engage in the implementation of Workday and strive towards future success within IT at Sandvik.

Job Summary
As Technical Solution Architect for the cloud-based HCM Solution at Sandvik, you are responsible for the entire solution: how it fits into the Sandvik IT landscape, as well as the architectural decisions for the solution. Another of your responsibilities is ensuring overall knowledge and competence availability for the solution from an IT perspective, including integration management, network management, identity and access management. IT Security, technical change and release management are also areas where your knowledge is used. Additionally, maintaining up-to-date documentation of the entire solution landscape and providing technical case management towards vendors are also responsibilities of yours. Lastly, you perform high-level solution design and estimations of effort, in order to implement new requests and support those making the request and managers of the projects.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with an IT-degree and at least five years of experience as a Solution Architect. In this position we value your expertise regarding cloud concepts in general and what it means to run a cloud-based solution within a large global enterprise, in particular. You have experience of project and stakeholder management, and you bring these leadership skills to our department. We value a strong IT background and a solid understanding of Sandvik’s business. As we operate in a global setting, you must have excellent skills in English, both in speaking and in writing, while skills in Swedish are beneficial.
