Are you a driven and ambitious leader who has a strong business mind and a genuine interest for purchasing? If so, come and join us at H&M Global Expansion, as Team Responsible within Interior purchase.
H&M is a fast-growing fashion retailer operating more than 4400 stores in 66 markets. We continue to expand worldwide, in Europe, America, and Asia. Interior Purchase is part of our Global Expansion organization, which is responsible for all aspects of creating the H&M stores, i.e. from design, draw, buy and build all H&M stores globally. We now are looking for a Team Responsible for our categories within Flooring, Lighting, and Display. The department is globally responsible for the purchases and ordering of store fixtures for all new and existing H&M stores.


Job Description

 
As Team Responsible you will be a part of a department of 50 persons and will head a team of 10, including Category managers, Strategic buyers, Quality and Material specialists. 
You will have the responsibility to lead the team to reach the best deals, meaning business (price, lead-time etc), quality, sustainability and logistics will need to be considered.
In this role you will have following responsibilities:
  • Coach and support all team members in daily as well as long-term priorities
  • Lead and support the priorities within the team in order to meet the overall goals
  • Secure the right team set-up and competence
  • Work closely with other team responsibles to secure best way of working throughout our processes
What we are looking for
 
We believe you have strong purchasing and analytical skills and expertise gained from international procurement organizations, an understanding of sourcing processes, commercial awareness, basic legal knowledge and excellent negotiation skills. We are also looking for someone who already today lead a team of a similar size. To be a good fit for the role you should be flexible, open minded and able to handle high speed in a changing environment.
 
We believe you are:
  • A leader with great communication skills and a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a leader
  • A person who wants to develop further within purchasing and want to help build and develop the department
  • Strategic and analytical
  • Skilled in evaluating business deals and act for creating long-term relationships
  • Good in prioritizing in order and set activities to secure our supply chain
  • Thriving in a fast pace where rapid changes are everyday events
  • Open to change and new directions. Able to see possibilities for improvements
  • A person who has experience of coaching and supporting colleagues
  • A good team player who acts according to our values and contributes to developing relationships with your colleagues while having fun together at work.
