Job Summary:

This is an opportunity to work day to day with emerging technologies and modern software techniques. You will be involved with advanced data analytics, including machine learning and data visualization techniques.

We are looking for motivated people with an experience in a wide range of technologies. This is a task oriented role where you will identify and use appropriate technologies to collect, use, and, present complex datasets to understand and identify trends in a large scale software development project for both developers and management. You will require creativity to identify and solve problems that we may not be aware of.

Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Responsibilities and tasks:

You will identify, collect and develop requirements from users and management. You will collect information from existing datasources as well as create new ones. You will connect different datasources together to find method of improving software development reliability, quality and strategy.  You will explore and use data visualization techniques to explain and simplify the information you see.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of science or equivalent.

Position Qualifications: 

• The primary quality required in a candidate is an ability and a willingness to adapt to and learn new technologies quickly
• 5 years’ experience in information technology or programming generally
• An understanding of basic C style language syntax (one of C++, Java, PHP or Javascript or similar)
• A good understanding of SQL 
• You routinely use Linux on the command line and the standard Linux toolset and you have the ability to choose appropriate software tools to solve a particular problem
• Fluency in English

The following skills are an advantage:

• Complex SQL (we use PostgreSQL, but experience in MySQL, MSSQL or similar is also good)
• User Interface design, webdesign including php, sql, react. JS or similar
• Experience with Javascript based graphing frameworks
• Python
