Head of Talent Management, Group Functions

Group Functions, including Technology & Emerging Business, is a global organization with approximately 7000 employees. The unit consists of:

 

  • Technology & Emerging Business
  • Finance & Common Functions
  • Sustainability & Public Affairs
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Legal Affairs, including IPR & Licensing

 

As our Head of Talent Management, you will be responsible for driving talent agenda within various parts Group Functions. Through working with talent identification, development, leadership, performance management and culture, you will create impact on company strategic priorities such as enabling technology leadership, creating emerging business opportunities, driving digital transformation, driving sustainability agenda.   Ideally, you will have demonstrated expertise and experience in many or all of these areas.

You will be an integral part of the HR Team, supporting Group Functions, working in close collaboration with HR Business Partners, Subject Matter Experts and HR Generalists. You will report to Head of HR for Group Functions and be part of HR Leadership Team supporting Group Functions.  The Global Head of Talent management will be a key stakeholder and you will be part of the Global Talent leadership team. 

You will also work closely with the global community of Talent Management professionals across Ericsson.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a member of the HR Leadership Team for Group Functions, you will contribute to the development and implementation of respective HR strategies
  • Develop and implement talent strategy for Group Functions, implement main global processes, framework and programs (e.g. Performance Management, Talent to Value, High Potential programs)
  • Work with the identification of business critical positions and succession management across Group Function units
  • Enable business transformation by supporting the business to implement culture initiatives and programs
  • Participate in the design and implementation of the Technical Talent Framework, to identify and develop critical talents within various technology areas
  • Share expertise and learning within respective communities at Ericsson, as well as externally
  • Design and implement Group Function specific talent programs, enabling succession bench for critical roles
  • Manage and participate in multi-discipline HR projects across Group Functions

 

CRITICAL EXPERIENCES

  • Track record of building talent capability in a global context through targeted development and creating and sustaining talent pipeline
  • Evidence of effectively supporting a team through a global transformation
  • Track record of supporting and influencing strategic programs of change to deliver positive commercial and impact outcomes
  • Successful previous experience working with senior leadership teams
  • Experience in driving and successfully implementing change programs in business environment
  • Minimum of 5 years track record in talent management, as well as experience working in business-facing roles within Human Resources
  • Delivering results in a matrix organization, building on everyone’s strength in a lean team
  • Role modelling Ericsson’s cultural sweet spot and key behaviors to support business transformation

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Good communication, relationship building & influencing skills at all levels in the organisation
  • Flexibility, independence, initiative and resilience to perform successfully in a rapidly changing environment
  • Continuously build your own expertise in talent management and share with the others
  • Understanding of business strategy and practices
  • Outstanding team work, networking and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and/or related field.
  • Fluent in English
