IT Test Managers to H&M Online Logistics i Stockholm

This is an exciting opportunity for a Test Manager to join an important project in one of H&M’s programs implementing a new global ERP solution. The project will deliver a new warehouse management solution that will be rolled out to existing and new warehouses globally over the coming years.  In addition to that, the number of warehouses grows and the complexity increases as well as cross dependencies. Omni is growing and new solutions are added.


We have a need for two different Test Managers, one is responsible for our SAP WMS Solution and the other Test Manager will be responsible for our WCS Solution. The two roles will work very closely and cooperate to succeed with our future challenges.


In your role, you will lead a team of testers. You will work closely with your team, our system integrator, business people and other functional teams. To handle all those stakeholders and to coordinate work very good communication skills and relationship building skills are required. The nature of our projects within logistics require an understanding of the solution and being able to relate between the operational, tactical and strategic perspectives in a given context in order to drive the development in the right direction.


We believe that you currently work as a Test Manager and have several years of experience from this role and enjoy working with test strategies. You have outstanding abilities in managing deliverables and in time management, you are well-structured in your work and have the ability to take decision. Also, you have the ability to handle many stakeholders, build relationships and to coach and motivate the team.


Your responsibilities


The job of a Test Manager comes with lots of responsibility – and lots of fun.


Your to-do list includes:


- Introduce and align internal and external partners to our Test Strategy, plan and identify the scope of System Test and System Integration Test together with internal and external partners. Have a close cooperation with business, project managers, requirement analyst, architects, test coordinators and other test leads


- Allocate test resources internally, and make sure our external suppliers have test organizations that meet the needs and ensure the setup of test environments (in cooperation with surrounding solutions)


- Define and communicate Test Plans aligned to the overall Test Strategy for functional, non-functional testing as well as regression testing and plan for User Acceptance Test and secure resources for the same


- Steer and allocate work within the Online Logistics expansion test organization  and coach the team members


- Continuously have a dialog with suppliers on how to improve testing. Handle complex and multiple stakeholder relations and relations with vendors


- Create common test plans for the Online Logistics expansion releases and follow up that established guidelines for test work are being followed and recommend any improvements to the same


- To plan functional and non-functional testing together with the parties delivering in the Online Logistics expansion release and continuously identify, evaluate and prioritize testing activities


- To ensure that test environments is available and functional according to plan and test documentation is prepared and updated and ensure that all deviations get reported and monitored, for example, that they are solved, moved to another release or closed without action


- In the WCS role you need to secure that new MHE solutions are, from an IT-perspective cost effective, highly maintainable and re-usable. You will drive and be involved in WRT preparation and tests towards emulators, simulators and test systems of WCS with the purpose to early identify defects in the solution. Responsible for test requirements, follow up and supervise the WCS supplier´s tests

And your skills include:


- Strong leadership skills who can steer strong suppliers in the right direction

- Solid experience as Test Manager within project or/and maintenance steering and from working within Supply chain/Logistics and Integrated Enterprise solutions

- Experience from of working with services and vendors as well as working within a global organization

- Experience from software development project, standard system implementation and/or from Roll out of Global Solutions as well as from release management and planning and drive tasks/workshops. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, especially SAP EWM is qualifying

- You are driven, well-structured in your work and excellent in fact based decision-making, able to both work both operational and strategically and easily switch between the two and you have a holistic view as well as proactive

- Good at expressing yourself verbally and in writing in both English and Swedish


Travelling will be part of this job.
