Business Controller to H&M in Uppsala

The H&M Group is a global leading fashion retailer operating in over 65 markets with seven brands; H&M, COS, &Other Stories, Arket, Monki, Weekday and Cheap Monday. H&M group today has more than 4,700 physical stores worldwide and a very strong Online store.

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially interested team player who wants to join our regional team in Uppsala as an Area Controller. You will work in close cooperation with the regional team that covers approximately 30 stores and you will report directly to the Area Manager and the Country Controller.

The role
The Area controller role is a broad and challenging business controlling role and you will have a great opportunity to affect the business and results in terms of both selling and profitability.

You will work with target setting, business planning and analysis, allocation, store operations and cost control with the goal to optimize each store in your region and drive profitable sales. You will also work with promoting various Omni features to our customers and our staff.

Your profile
•    Business degree from university
•    2-5 years of relevant work experience
•    Fluent in Swedish
•    Able to frequently travel within the region
•    Track record of delivering great results
•    Strong commercial drive and ability to put numbers into action
•    Strong analytical skills
•    Curiosity to experiment, see patterns and find out what truly makes an impact
•    Team player with lots of positive energy
•    Engaging in terms of leadership and communication
•    Passion for setting and reaching challenging goals
•    Experience from working in retail is a plus, but not a must

Location
The position is based at our regional office in Uppsala, but it is very feasible to live in Stockholm and commute. The role also includes relatively frequent travelling that normally takes place from Stockholm C or Arlanda.
