During the summer, you will get an in-depth knowledge about Ericsson as an organization during fun activities and presentations given by some of our successful leaders within the company. The internship starts off with an orientation day, where we will offer interesting and informative presentations about Ericsson, our history and future visions. Furthermore, it will give you the chance to get to know the other summer interns and create your own network within Ericsson. During your internship, you will work on challenging tasks that are based on real business needs, relevant to your skill sets.

 

At the Trade Compliance Operations assignment you will have a chance to work with the customs clearance of goods into and from Ericsson AB Sweden, to ensure that all legal requirements are fulfilled with the shortest possible lead-time and without unnecessary cost to either Ericsson or external parties. The scope includes all imports into Sweden handled by EAB, including components for production, buy to order flows and return flows.

 

While joining you will have a possibility to be involved in:

  • Creating customs declarations in the SAP GTS system
  • Being the main interface towards the Logistic Service Providers and Swedish Customs in all operational matters concerning import & export of goods
  • Updating master data related to import & export
  • Checking LSP invoices and Customs invoices for import & export shipments
  • Providing general operational support and know-how to the EAB organization on import, export and customs clearance matters
  • Maintaining instructions related to import
  • Arranging user training activities

 

The role works closely with the Sourcing, Supply, finance, order and Transport Management functions.

 

Qualifications

The position requires experience of related inside or outside Ericsson, including:

  • Knowledge of Swedish import & export clearance procedures
  • General knowledge of distribution matters
  • Experience of SAP systems is an advantage
  • General Ericsson knowledge and Ericsson product knowledge is an advantage

 

The requirements on personal traits include:

  • Good ability to work independently and setting own priorities
  • Being structured and orderly
  • Good ability to handle high volume data entry tasks in IT systems
  • Good ability to speak and write Swedish and English
  • High degree of service-mindedness
  • Ability to handle minor problems and exceptions with authorities and other external parties
  • Ability to network
  • Good ability to cope with stress and multi-tasking
