Business Controller Multi-channel Sales & Marketing for a new brand within H&M New Business

We are now looking for a Business Controller working Multi-channel for one of the most exciting and ground-breaking projects ever made within the H&M group, Project 12. Are you up for the challenge? 

H&M New Business currently consist of seven separate brands: COS, & Other Stories, Monki, WEEKDAY, Cheap Monday, H&M Home and ARKET.  

Overall role:

No day is like the other and it is up to you to decide how to create sales growth and improve profitability. As part of our Business Controlling Team you will be a key player within the Sales & Marketing organization, working closely to many other functions, such as, sales, marketing and buying.


You will be working multi-channel, both towards store side and online, driving sales and profitability. Your results will have a huge impact and you can really make a difference!

In this role, your responsibilities will among others be:

  • Analyzing and provide insightful recommendations to drive sales and profitability in a multi-channel environment
  • Identify business opportunities and propose concrete actions based on the analysis that can improve our overall customer offer
  • Proactively work with budgets and plans to secure the long-term commitments for the function
  • Challenge and promote cost consciousness and effectiveness within the function
  • Work close with the online store management team to optimize the growth and profitability both short and long term
  • Work with the physical store management teams and area managers to ensure that staff planning is in accordance with the business need, based on sales peaks, customer demands, garment replenishment, and the general store functions necessary for an efficient operation
  • Be a key player in developing the controlling functions way of working as well as supporting the development of systems and tools together with business development
To be successful in this role:
  • Young professional with a degree in business or engineering
  • 1-3 years of working experience after graduation
  • Driven and results oriented
  • Analytical and strong ability to think outside the box
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set and like taking own initiatives
  • Team player with leadership skills wanting to grow as leader
  • Strong problem solving skills and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Genuine interest in retail
  • Meritorious to have experience within e-commerce
  • Fluent in English & Swedish is required
