The Section 94140 Diagnostics and ECU Platform works with the electronic framework of the electrical system, i.e. Base Technologies such as Communication (wired and wire less), Diagnostics, CarConfiguration, SW download and SW platform.

The BaseTech Software Development group in Lund currently consists of 17 people and we work with the core electrical functionality in the car. The main focus for the group is to perform design and implementation work for the next generation of the electrical architecture that will enable the digital transformation of the entire car. This new architecture is key for enabling for example advanced connectivity features, machine learning capabilities and autonomous drive.

We need to grow this team with both junior and senior developers in different domains and are therefore dividing the group in two. As group manager you will be part of the section’s management team and you will work in close cooperation with the other group managers.

Main responsibilities

• Lead a team of software developers developing the future core system and architecture components.
• Manage the people in the team and ensure competence development
• Create the necessary conditions for the team to develop over time in order to meet the requirements for quality, efficiency and shorter leadtimes.
• Be a contributing member of the sections management team.

Required qualifications

• Masters degree in Electrical or Computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• > 8 years experience
• Documented Leadership skills
• Documented experience in the software development area
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
