Background:

There is an on-going project for implementing a master data management solution for customer at Scania. At this moment there is no decision regarding what other entities should be included in an MDM-solution, which systems that should be integrated or whom the supplier should be to deliver a service to meet the demands of Scania.

Target:
Analyse and recommend the best way for Scania to take the next step towards an MDM-solution that supports the demands of Scania.

Assignment:

• Interview with business and use Scania decision patterns to suggest which entities and systems that should be included in an MDM-solution.
• Evaluate the business demands and make an recommendation with consideration taken to the different available MDM-solutions such as single domain, multi-domain or multi-vector.
• Evaluate the suppliers and make a recommendation for the most suited one to deliver Scania with an MDM-solution with a modern architecture that can handle demands such as among others GDPR.
