Care by Volvo is a ground breaking premium Subscription Service we are developing. To support this change, we now need to recruit an Accounting Manager Care by Volvo to be part of our global accounting cluster. In cooperation with colleagues in other business units worldwide, you and your team will provide financial expertise, business controlling and guidance. As Accounting Manager Care by Volvo within Global Finance Operations, you will need to be able to work both in Gothenburg and Stockholm initially. You will be part of setting up the new Care by Volvo and its financial service operations and be responsible for the accounting and reporting within this area. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of creating a new chapter in Volvo Cars journey into the future of the automotive industry.

Main responsibilities

• Setting up the accounting and reporting for our Care by Volvo business in an efficient and qualitative way
• As the business grows, make sure we have the right resources and competence at the right time
• Ensure good cooperation with relevant stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with current global principles, standards and frameworks
• Keep track of legislation, trends, latest news and external benchmark to ensure that the processes are "best in class"
• Focus on quality, standardization and efficiency
• Advanced accounting and accounting advices within the area of responsibility

   

Who are we looking for?

• University degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• 10 years’ experience of which at least 5 in a similar position
• Excellent knowledge of accounting in financial services, leasing company or retail bank
• Good knowledge in IFRS and other relevant regulation frameworks
• Experience from SAP 4/Hana and/or Miles is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Finance processes in general and ability of applying these in the daily work
• Ability to work and be comfortable in a dynamic environment and continuous development
• Result driven and ability to prioritize to deliver on commitments with tight deadlines
• Highly developed and proven leadership skills
• Great communication skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Flexible in travelling between Gothenburg and Stockholm
