Business Analyst within R&D Collaboration – CAD/vPDM and PDM i Sodertalje

Come and join the PDM & CAD teams at Scania R&D!

We are currently in an expansive phase and need to strengthen our teams with a number of Business Analysts within the CAD/vPDM and PDM areas.

Our mission is to establish a cross-functional Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) organisation to support all of Scania’s core processes, with customers from all of Scania’s business domains: Marketing, Sales, R&D, Procurement and Production. Additionally, an important aspect to consider is the collaboration with our strategic alliance partners within the VW Truck & Bus Group. Our focus is to work with business demands and jointly develop processes, methods and IT solutions to optimise the whole flow of product data.
 
We want you to have experience / knowledge within any of the following areas:

  • CATIA/ENOVIA and 3DExperience
  • Product description, product structure and/or product change management
  • Development of information models and methods
  • Product development cycle 

Your main responsibilities
You will join one of our three groups working with CAD/vPDM (product data related to the virtual description), PDM (product data related to the physical description) and Product Description Methodology. There will be room to make adjustments to the work content according to your profile.
 
Examples of work tasks:

  • Connect our CAD/PDM organisation with the R&D Collaboration organisation and the VW Truck & Bus Group
  • Be the representative to capture and elaborate on business needs, transforming them into requirements to develop
  • Work mainly in early development phases with concept studies and analysis needs.

 
Your profile

  • You have an engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • You have worked with investigating needs and requirement analysis in a similar context for a number of years
  • You have experience of operative work within product description, product structure or product change management
  • You enjoy working in an agile team based environment using lean principles, having a customer and user perspective
  • You are cooperative and prestigeless, and you have an ability to create good working relations
  • You are analytical, but you also make things happen (or able to act)
  • You are curious and like working in a changing environment
  • You have good communications skills, both written and spoken
  • You have very good knowledge in English and Swedish, both written and oral. Knowledge in German is meritorious.
