Scania Financial Services (SFS) is serving Scania customers, dealers and distributors in over 50 markets around the world, through 15 captive business units, with financing and insurance solutions. Over 850 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 140.000 vehicles representing around 75 billion SEK of assets financed, and a portfolio of 80.000 insurance policies.
The aim for SFS is to become a true and integrated part of the Scania Solution Sales offering, by developing customer satisfaction and loyalty while adding values to the stakeholders and customer’s customers when living the Scania Experience.
At the SFS Head Office located in Södertälje a group of some 45 colleagues, representing over 10 nationalities, steers and supports the overall SFS business. The business control function consist currently of four persons, and as one of our Business controller is taking on a new position within Scania, we are now looking for a successor.
Job Description
The Business Controller’s role has a focus on the steering of the business and is mainly to perform business and financial analysis activities to enable the organization to achieve its goals.
The main responsibilities as Business Controller:
As Business Controller you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment with close contact with our finance managers and other colleagues within Business units around the world. This also means that you will travel from time to time. You will also work together with the financial controllers at Scania Group Reporting and Control.
Your profile
In order to succeed in this position you will need to have 5-7 years of relevant experience of working with analysing performance, financial and business controlling and with ambitions to support SFS’s further developments in this area as well as a keen interest in financing.
The suitable candidate needs to have the following skills:
It would be beneficial if you have experience from a Financial Services company, and/or have worked with Scania’s group reporting system HFM.
