Are you an experienced project manager looking for new challenges who wants to work on the products of the future? Here in the Modularisation group we are currently looking for our next employee to help us on the journey of taking the modularisation and yellow arrow work to the next level.

The Modularisation group is responsible for technical product planning and modularisation at complete vehicle level. This involves analysis of how our products are to be developed in order to meet the future needs of customers and secure Scania’s future profitability. We are also responsible for Scania’s concept development portfolio and concept development process.
 
Your duties
You will work on technical product planning. This involves responsibility for producing roadmaps for product introductions and the projects that need to be initiated to achieve our goals. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for one of Scania’s strategically important product planning areas, the powertrain. Every product planning area has a cross-functional steering group and a dedicated space in the R&D budget that specifies a direction for the planned project decisions.
 
As the Technical Project Manager, you will maintain close contact with R&D, the marketing side and, where relevant, our colleagues within the VW T&B group.
 
The work also includes supporting project managers within Scania’s concept development. You will also participate in the development of Scania’s approach to concept development and technical product planning.
 
Your profile
Applicants should have an MSc or BSc in Engineering with relevant work experience, for example technical project management and a coordinating role within product development. You will have a least a few years’ experience of successful professional activities and will be looking to take the next step in your career. You will have strong, independent drive with a good sense of initiative, combined with a good general technical education. You will also regard achieving your goals at the agreed time to be a matter of honour. The cross-functional nature of the work means that good leadership and interpersonal skills are a requirement for achieving good results. This position will give you the opportunity to develop and establish a broad network. We can offer the right person very challenging duties.
You will be proficient in written and spoken Swedish and English.
