What you’ll do
The positons as Credit Risk Manager is pan-European and will cover all major markets. The role will entail responsibilities such as drive work to design credit-granting processes, participate in procurement of credit decisions data and setting up portfolio credit risk in order to monitor and report on processes. Main responsibilities will also consist of:

  • Evaluating and suggest credit risk thresholds in specific markets
  • Translating corporate credit risk guidelines into operational instructions
  • Leading work to develop and improve in-house tools for improved credit decisions
  • Ensuring that our KYC and onboarding processes are efficient

In this position, you will work closely with Care by Volvos tech teams to implement solutions as well supporting finance in calculating monthly reserves. The job is located in Stockholm or HQ in Gothenburg.

 

Do you fit the profile?

  • 4-6 year experience from working with Credit in automotive and/or consumer finance
  • University degree, preferably in finance and/or credit risk analysis or management
  • In depth experience with automotive and/or customer credit risk assessment policies and management
  • High level understanding of IFRS 9 and other relevant accounting frameworks
  • Experience from multiple European markets is a strong plus
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Fluent in English, speaking and writing

Your ability to be analytical in order to develop and utilize statistical models will be a great help here.
