H&M group launches a new brand during 2018 – are you up for the challenge? Join us at Afound!

Afound will be an off-price marketplace offering a carefully selected, broad and diverse assortment of price reduced products from well-known quality fashion and lifestyle brands. With focus on styling and inspiring presentation, as well as attractive offerings from brands in different price segments, Afound will offer a new engaging shopping experience.

We are looking for an Area Manager to our Area Team with focus on the Swedish market. As Area Manager at Afound you are responsible for leading the area team, consisting of Area Visual, Area HR and Area Controller. Sweden is your work field and together with the team you secure a supreme customer experience, selling, profitability, and operational excellence and secure Afound to be the style and deal hunting paradise. You are also responsible for driving and promoting sales online within your area.

We are convinced that a high level of customer service is what will affect both sales and profitability multichannel, why securing excellent customer service levels in stores is a high priority for our Area manager. This is a new role at Afound which means you will have an important impact in setting the strategy and way of working for Afound.

You have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize your own and your team’s tasks to achieve set goals. You like to take initiative, make things happen and are brave enough to take decisions. In this role, your responsibilities amongst others will be to:
  • Ensure our stores offer our customers an excellent level of service that promotes purchases both in store and online.
  • Lead and work with the Area VM to ensure all sales campaigns are carried out in the best way and secure a high standard in visual merchandising and optimizing store layouts to drive selling.
  • Lead and work with Area Controller to monitor, analyze and take actions on sales targets, outcome, plans and budgets.
  • Lead and work with the Area HR to manage and execute recruitment, training, development and succession planning for area team and stores.
  • Secure with the area team that each store runs optimal in-store operations and routines with the right staffing levels at each time.
  • Check that each store has the correct product allocation and appropriate stock for its selling size.
  • Ensure the stores work in line with Afound vision, mission and goals always living our brand DNA towards the customer.
  • We believe you have experience from several management positions within retail/fashion with high focus on customer service. You have good English skills and travelling on a weekly basis to different parts of Sweden. You are a strong team player and who is open minded and solution orientated.
