The offer
The main purpose of this role is to act as a Product Owner, ensuring that the highest value changes are implemented on time and in accordance with our internal customers' requests. You will be part of a dedicated unit working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.  
 
In the GFIR unit at Nordea we have the mission to develop and maintain common information and reporting through unified processes, one organization and platform. We are the owners of a number of reporting applications within Nordea. You will work together with our stakeholders and the regulatory framework owners, as well as with our IT department.  
 
What you'll be doing:
  • Prioritize and describe product backlog which reflects stakeholders' requirements  
  • Take ownership for reporting application matters in projects and for improvements  
  • Sign-off of functional designs and data quality tests ensuring correct implementation of business requirements, ensure alignment to business architecture and work in accordance with agile development models.  
  • Provide end-user support to customers in Group Functions and Business Areas  
  • Team up and communicate with stakeholders across Nordea when implementing changes, assisting in training and end-user documentation.  
The role is based in Stockholm or Helsinki. You will be part of the Business Development team within GFIR, a highly skilled team where you will work in a positive and developing environment that provides room for professional growth.

Your background:
  • Academic degree in finance, mathematics, statistics or engineering  
  • Experience in working with data analysis, and relevant tools like SQL and SAS  
  • Experience in driving different initiatives with international colleagues in a banking environment  
  • Experience in working with distributed teams  
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written  
  • Understanding of capital, regulatory or credit risk reporting requirements (i.e. BASEL, FINREP, COREP, FATCA, CRS or AnaCredit)
