At Manufacturing Engineering, you are part of a global production team that

collaboration with colleagues in other business units, we develop and implement flexible and

VESC ME aim to establish a good foundation for a long-term relationship between Volvo
Cars and students in various Master's Programmes. The concept will provide you as a student
with a unique opportunity to experience and work in the very centre of the product and
process development in the automotive industry. This within an organisation that has a high
focus on safety aspects as well as innovation. We are people who want to make a difference.

Content

Summer job and Master thesis:
· 2018 will give you experience of working at production area, building our cars.
· 2019 focuses on specific manufacturing engineering deliveries. It will provide you
with a broad understanding and building your skills within the field.
· 2020 Thesis work during your Master's Programme.

In order to be eligible as a participant in the VESC programme you need to be in your final
year of Bachelor Programme and applying for Master’s Programme with the following areas
below. In addition, you need to be fluent in English.

· Mechanical Engineering
· Electrical Engineering
· Industrial Engineering and Management
· Software/Computer Engineering
