Financial Controller to Management Financial Reporting i Sodertalje

We are now looking for an analytical controller with a true passion for business who can contribute to the development and strengthening of our team! Management Financial Reporting, within Corporate Control, supports Scania’s CFO with reports and analysis to the board of directors and Group management. This task demands qualitative, timely and relevant financial information. The Scania group is divided into two segments; Vehicles & Services and Financial Services. The location for this position is at Scania’s head office, located in Södertälje.

Job summary
In this position, you support the management within Corporate Control by analyzing the Vehicles & Services segment. The role will give you a close contact to key stakeholders within the organization and a good understanding of our business models. By analyzing the Vehicles & Service segment you will take an active part in the quality assurance and the understanding of the complete Scania business including Industrial operations covering Research and Development, Purchasing, Production and logistics and Sales and Marketing as well as the Commercial Operations. The position will expose you to a wide range of people from different part of the organization, both within Scania, Volkswagen Truck & Bus and Volkswagen.
Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for the consolidation and analysis of Vehicles & Services in period closings and projections. Your tasks will also include several projects, ad hoc tasks and development of the IT-system for business, planning and consolidation. Since Scania is a fully owned subsidiary of Volkswagen group you will participate in the financial reporting to Volkswagen Truck & Bus. In order to be successful in your role your development and understanding of the Scania financial model and the accounting principles are crucial.

Your profile
We are looking for a person with a degree in finance or business with preferably about four-five years’ experience of financial reporting and controlling. You have a passion for business and a good understanding as well as interest for group reporting. You are an experienced Excel and PowerPoint user. If you have knowledge from financial IT-systems this is seen as a merit. Since we work in a global environment, you need to be able to communicate in both English and Swedish.

Personal skills
To be able to solve complex tasks you need to be analytical as a person and have high problem solving skills. The ability to focus on details without losing grip of the big picture is therefore essential in order to succeed in your role. You should have the ability to both work independently and as part of a team. A service minded and solution oriented attitude is something we place great value in, therefore you need to have both social and communicative skills since the position will expose you to both internal and external contacts.
