Are you an Enterprise Architect with experience of working with IT services and complex IT solutions? Come join us!

We are looking for two Enterprise Architects to join our IT-Division, Business Support Functions (BSF) as Area Architects. This is a chance to work with IT solutions worldwide for Finance & Accounting, Interior/Expansion & Visual, Sustainability, HR, Controlling and Communication & Press. We are supporting the expansion and sustainable work of H&M. Our solutions also keep track of the financial results of the group, provide information to the Press, as well as managing our workforce in stores and warehouses.

Are you ready to take on the responsibility for the architecture of Service Area Finance & Accounting or Service Area HR & Controlling? Take the chance to step into a key role as the link between IT and Business being responsible that our system landscape meets the future business needs. Together with different stakeholders, you drive the overall architecture, creating sustainable solutions in a global complex IT-environment.

As an Area Architect, you are an important part of the management team for the service area and you will be leading and coaching your colleagues in architectural matters. You are also included in the architecture function at the BSF division, working cross areas with other Area Architects. You have a great level of independence in your role and we expect you to act with confidence in your leadership.

Your responsibilities

The job of an Area Architect at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility – and lots of fun.

Your to do-list includes:

  • Be part of the Service Area management team and have overall responsibility for the architecture of the solutions that the service area delivers
  • Develop a target architecture and road-map for the area together with business stakeholders
  • Work closely with ongoing projects to ensure adherence to the targetarchitecture, IT guidelines and future business needs
  • Understand and analyze new business demands and how they can be implemented in the system landscape in an early stage
  • Identify and drive architectural driven changes within and cross the area
  • Coach solution architects
  • Be a domain expert and contact person in your area regarding architectural matters
  • Maintain and develop architectural artifacts such as City map, Target Architecture and road maps

Your skills

Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a social, open, communicative sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism.

And your skills include:

  • At least 5 years work experience within business and solution architecture
  • Broad IT background and experience from working with IT services and/or purchased IT solutions, preferably in large or midsized companies
  • Have the ability and interest to discuss and drive architectural issues on both enterprise and solution level with the big picture in mind and an eye for details
  • Leadership qualities and ability to build good working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and able to adapt to different IT- and business stakeholders
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbally and written

It is an advantage if you have experience from Retail and/or:

  • Financial and accounting processes
  • HR and workforce management
  • SAP
  • Communication skills in Swedish is considered as a merit

This is a fulltime position based in Marievik, Stockholm.

The IT-department is located in Stockholm and Borås and conducts business virtually all over the globe. The H&M group includes in addition to H&M the brands H&M Home, COS, & Other Stories, Monki, Weekday, Cheap Monday and ARKET. As an IT-department, we work with all brands.
