Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is building a team of world class business development professionals to help establish relationships and manage the success of Partner Community of Consulting partners within the Nordic markets.

As a Nordics Partner Senior Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help build and deliver the Partner go to market strategy related to the adoption of the AWS cloud computing platform including Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon RDS, Amazon Cloud Front, Amazon Cloud Search and Amazon Market Place.
We are looking for a visionary leader with a strong entrepreneurial mindset who could manage and grow the AWS Nordics Partner team.
At the same time you will be acting as an owner exercising hands-on partner success management responsibility: managing existing relationships with Consulting and System Integrator (SI) partners, develop joint pipeline and proactively developing new consulting partners to support business development organization with extended business development and delivery capabilities.

The ideal candidate needs to have strong people management capability but also thorough experience in growing and managing an opportunity pipeline with partners. Developing a long term strategic relationship including building plans and execute against strict timelines is a basic qualification requirement for this role. In this role you will also track potential partner’s progress towards the program requirements and ensure timely follow up on all aspects of the onboarding process.

Responsibilities

- Manage and grow the AWS Nordics Partner team
- Contributing to pipeline management and forecasting
- Work closely with the extended AWS Partner Ecosystem Team to help develop an boarding program that provides EMEA SI partners the business and technical support they need, in a mostly automated, self-service manner.
- Identify specific customer segments and industry verticals to help approach with a joint value proposition for using AWS.
- Position AWS for internal use by the partner organization.
- Help ensure that AWS is the partner’s preferred cloud computing platform across all product lines.
- Understand the technical and training requirements of partners, and work closely with the internal AWS product teams to guide the direction of future offerings.
- Help deliver well qualified end customer opportunities via partners to the AWS business development force.
- Working experience with CRM systems, data warehousing and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics for tracking purposes.
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.

- Significant experience managing direct and virtual teams
- The right person will possess significant Nordic partner development experience in the software/technology industry.
- The right person will have recruited and managed SI / Consulting Partners
- Thorough experience in growing and managing an opportunity pipeline with partners
- Developing a long term strategic relationship including building plans and execution against strict timelines
- Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
- Strong program management skills with a focus on delivering scalable programs supporting hundreds of customers/partners.
- Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies like open source software, virtualization and Software as a Service delivery models.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
- Fluent in Swedish and English

MBA or Degree qualification preferred
