Working as Application Maintenance Lead (AM Lead) at H&M is taking on great responsibility, and great fun!


As our next AM Lead you will have the overall responsibility for AM deliveries within the functional area Master Data. Your main responsibility is to steer, support and follow-up of technical development service deliveries. You have a key role and be a part of the functional area steering group.


As AM Lead you will have the opportunity to work together with functional areas from many IT divisions and thereby gain good overall insight into how H&M IT Department operates. You will work with programs cross H&M IT, related to both online and store. As our AM team is located in India the role will include travels to visit the team approximately once a year.


To be successful in this role we believe you have experience working with manage service. You are customer focused, structured and understands business needs. You also like constant improvements and are straight forward and open minded.


You will be a part of The Enterprise Applications Division that has the responsibility to support, steer and deliver Master Data to all functions within H&M. We also coordinate and manages our Supply Chain program and support new initiatives on the shared platforms and work with securing long-term solutions.

Your responsibilities


The job of an AM Lead at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility – and lots of fun.


Your to do-list includes:


  • The main task is to ensure stable operations delivered in time and per governance principles, processes and agreed SLAs
  • Cross functional Incident Management and Continuity Management
  • Secure and manage information to relevant stakeholders
  • Proactively lead the work for continuous service, system and solution improvements within their FA
  • Planning and prioritization of scope content and delivery status within each AM release
  • Manage plans and drive activities to ensure the production launch of AM releases
  • Application Maintenance plans and documentation
  • Report status and escalate to Functional Area Responsible and PMO AM Management
  • Coordination with Release management and Change Board for AM scope and have the responsible for the FA specific Application Support & Maintenance (Includes sub process like Incident, Problem, Change, Transition / Service Introduction etc.)
  • Responsible for service governance activities such as budget discussions, adding new scope or follow up service delivery

  • Ability to understand and analyze business needs, translate them with the help of the maintenance team into IT requirements and drive execution towards successful delivery
  • Management and leadership experience e.g. Team Lead
  • Experience from standard system implementation and understanding of maintenance of complex solutions
  • Experience from managed service and leading offshore deliveries
  • Experience from procurement, contract, vendor management and maintenance processes
  • Experience of manage distributed teams
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Qualifying with experience and knowledge of SAP
