OBJECT MANAGER (sub-project manager) FOR CAB DEVELOPMENT

Then this is your chance, as we are looking for an object manager for Scania’s cab development within Research and Development.

Your duties

As an object manager with us, you will get to work on exciting future-oriented projects aimed at further increasing Scania’s competitiveness. In addition to managing and running assignments within cab development, you will work cross-functionally with production, purchasing, marketing and with our external suppliers, among other areas. You will represent your object in a project group.

Your profile
You will have a BSc or MSc in Engineering, with a few years’ experience of product development or production. We are looking for someone with strong personal drive and good interpersonal skills who enjoys working in a structured way and wants to challenge our processes in order to improve. You are positive and down-to-earth with a good ability to lead other people, as well as listen and communicate, and you’ll understand the importance of us all succeeding together.
As the object manager, you will often sit in the centre of the information flow, which means you will need to be communicative and instructive in order to be able to explain, present and report to steering groups, management teams and employees carrying out the work.

The work involves leading cross-functional work, taking it forward, as well as carrying out some project tasks, such as work on schedules, financial follow-up, etc. in various systems.

As these duties involve international contacts, it is important that you are proficient in written and spoken English.
