In Swedbank, Digital Banking is responsible for customer experience, innovation, development and maintenance of channels and tools used in customer interactions. The organization consists of ~600 employees spread over all our home markets. Digital Banking is a rapidly growing unit and we are quickly becoming one of the most important strategic areas of the Swedbank Group

Swedbank is in the middle of a large transformation where the bank quickly needs to adapt to fast-paced innovation and change in customer expectations. Digital Banking is in the center of this journey and is in many ways driving the change.

The cross functional team you will be joining is developing Swedbank's next generation engagement and personal financial management services. The ambition is to provide a complete overview of our customers' financials which is the most important building block to remain the financial access point for our customers – keeping the digital relationship in our channels.

We are now looking for an experienced Software Engineer/ Developer. As a Developer in our team you will work with maintenance and development in Java environment. You will participate in both large and small development projects. The right person also has the opportunity to contribute to design and architecture of systems solutions in these projects.

In this position you will:

• Contribute in all areas: analyze, design, develop, test and maintain services delivered by the team
• Proactively reduce the technical depths
• Have, and continue to gain, good knowledge of the business in the value stream
• Design software following architecture principles Readiness to have on-call for the IT services developed and maintained by the team
• Solve and deploy solutions of incidents and problems
• Continuously update existing documentation for the services
• Participate and follow maintenance processes (incident, problem, event as applicable)
• Ensure quality awareness and care when designing, building and maintaining software
• Act as team player in the cross functional team and constantly improve the way of working
• Design new tests, improve existent ones and execute tests (unit & functional) in order to secure needed quality of the delivered software and IT service
  
  

To excel in this role you will need:

• At least 3 year experience as a Developer
• Experience in agile way of working
• Fluency in both Swedish and English
• Experience in Java, REST, JSON, Design patterns
• Willingness to learn/considers as an advantage: Angular, SCSS, GIT, NPM, ES6, Typescript, Javascript
