SQ-Quality is, within Scania Purchasing, responsible for quality assurance of new and modified parts, which we ensure by securing capable production processes at our suppliers. We are now searching for candidates to work in the SQA team of Chassis & Sheet Metal.

As an SQA You will be responsible for the quality performance of and strategies for, suppliers delivering Sheet Metal parts to us. In addition, you will secure that these suppliers comply with the high quality expectations of Scania. You will cooperate with colleagues from e.g. Production, R&D and Purchasing to develop your strategies and to improve quality performance of Your supplier base.

By involving yourself in the development work you will acquire knowledge of the products requirements and help to ensure that these requirements are correctly understood by our suppliers and derived into their production processes. Following up your suppliers is part of your daily work as well as managing parts and quality in current production.

We are looking for a candidate whom enjoys working with others but can be self-sufficient and be comfortable in taking own decisions. You need a strong commitment and good structure as well as an ability to dig into technical details without losing the overview perspective on your supplier base. You need to be able to handle a high pace and have a clear communication.

Your main area of competence lie in quality assured manufacturing, preferably in metal processing and surface treatment. You probably have an engineering degree and some professional experience from a production environment and/or product development, preferably with quality focus.

Since visiting suppliers is a reoccurring part of the SQAs’ work, we presume you are willing to travel,
are fluent in English, both written and spoken, as well as enjoy meeting new people and cultures.

A drivers licence is a must.
