Health and Safety team in Vattenfall Staff Functions is looking for a Health & Safety coordinator in Sweden located in Stockholm. This role requires someone passionate about safety and invested in employee wellness. We are looking for a person that can both work well with a global team and autonomously. This position will report to the VP of Health and Safety.
Health and Safety team supports Vattenfall in improving the H&S performance in order to achieve the ambition of zero accidents and zero work related illness by defining policies and lowest acceptable ambition level, setting KPIs and long term targets & executing non-standard tasks such as developing H&S standards strategic H&S initiatives
Your tasks in general:
- Project leader for several Vattenfall wide H&S projects
- Implementation of Golf initiatives
- Implementation of H&S strategic initiatives
- H&S standards (OHSAS 18001 etc.)
- Responsible for H&S documentation
- VMS H&S documentation
- Other H&S steering documents
Your skills:
We are looking for a colleague who meets the following requirements:
- Five or more years’ experience in health, safety, hygiene, ergonomics or related field in a corporate environment.
- Experience delivering health and safety related training.
- Work in a very structured and systematic way and be able to handle different issues on different levels at the same time
- Knowledge about H&S management systems
- Work environment & Health knowledge and skills
- Demonstrated service minded and supportive towards business
- Demonstrated courageous and determined towards external suppliers – contract management
- Swedish and English verbal and writing
- Detailed, accurate, and organized; Ability to inform others about company benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Proactive communicator who can clearly articulate results and needs across all levels
