The Tech Craft Director is accountable for the structure and organization of DICE Tech team and works in close collaboration with Head of Tech to drive the development of DICE Tech team, internal and external communication and long-term planning. Focuses on growing and sustaining a strong and versatile technical production force to enable DICE to build any game and service we decide to pursue. Forms the craft leadership team together with Head of Tech and the DICE Technical Directors and takes the overall operative perspective in terms of organizational structure and people development. Partner with people managers to oversee long-term team development and career paths for our team of software engineers.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of experience in software development and leadership experience is required.
• University degree in a Technical area.
• Excellent communication skills, including leading meetings and presenting to larger groups.
• Experience in managing, implementing and executing business and technology-related initiatives and projects.
• Competency in organizational excellence. Documentation and planning skills are important.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in organizational and people development on a strategic level.

Responsibilities

• Supports and function as the right hand to the Head of Tech in terms of driving cross tech domain initiatives.
• External and overall internal communication for the DICE Tech discipline including effective communications between the domains, responsibility for team meetings, newsletters, internal documentation, external presentations and visits etc.
• Setting a framework for collaboration between the five tech domains and partners.
• Keep track of the budget and oversee our staffing process
• Overall people processes such as talent management and career development in partnership with people managers and HR.
• Drive culture initiatives and the development of our one team culture.
• Drive engagement survey actions and team health initiatives.
