You and your team will join the inner circle of Klarna’s Global Marketing teams, which means setting world-class strategic and creative marketing frameworks, guiding the Klarna brand in all marketing touch points globally. To put it simply, it’s your job to turn complex propositions into crystal clear communication so that our end-users find it easy to understand and buy Klarna. 

Who you are

• Since you’re still reading this you obviously like the idea of working as a team. That’s a great place to start! You and your teammate(s) should also be proactive by nature and come with new thinking that adds value and innovation to the work we do. You enjoy a fast-paced work environment and can quickly adapt to change. You have the ability to prioritise your work effectively according to goals and you’re highly reliable in delivering according to set tasks. It is also important that you’re able to embrace the varied nature of the job; you will need to be flexible and take personal ownership of hands-on delivery, even as a team. 

Your team should have

• 2-5 team members
• Minimum 4+ years of marketing experience
• A proven track record in delivering stellar B2B and/or B2C brand communication
• Experience from working with external agencies to create concepts and campaigns
• Experience in making data-driven marketing decisions using market research, A/B testing, and other analytical tools to ensure end-user understanding
• Excellent English skills in written and oral communication

As a bonus, your team might also have

• Experience of working in one of the following:
• a fast-paced startup environment
• a larger company with a strong entrepreneurial culture
• a company with a strong brand track record
• Knowledge of e-Commerce, retail, payments, banking and/or fintech markets is a bonus.

Applying as a team — here’s how it works

• There are some hoops you have to jump through before we’re able to make an offer you can, but hopefully won't refuse. The process is pretty straightforward and very similar to how we handle regular individual applications, but with some slight adjustments. This is the journey you will embark on:


• Application - start by assigning one in your team as the main point of contact by filling out the first contact form. Don’t worry though, all team members will be able to provide their resumes as well. And don’t forget to tell us why you work great as a team and how we would be foolish not to hire you. Team assignment and logic test - you and your team have to complete a special team assignment and logic test, where you will be evaluated on how well you work together.


• Team interviews and individual logic test - Here’s where we meet for the first time and you have a chance to present your team assignment. There’s also an individual logic test, something every Klarna employee has to go through, team applicants or not. If your team passes, we will continue to evaluate you as a team (hoorah!), and if one of you passes that person will continue to our regular individual recruitment process.


• Evaluation and possible offer - we will determine if the entire team is a good fit, but of course we’re also open to individual recruitment.
