Digital Transformation Manager i Stockholm

Driven by this belief, Vattenfall has decided to start an initiative to accelerate the Digital transformation of its Heat Business.

So now we are looking for a Digital Transformation Manager in the Business Area Heat.

The digital transformation program focuses on three areas, with different angles to driving the transition. The role we are looking for is the Digital Transformation Manager responsible for the work area we call Infuse. The Infuse work area is responsible for driving the ideation and realization of how emerging technologies can be applied in our existing business. The task is to stimulate a positive disruption of how we run our existing business through applying new technologies.

As the Digital Transformation Manager leading Infuse, you are responsible for monitoring and prioritizing which new Digital technologies we focus on for our Heat Business. You are responsible for selecting the most promising opportunities and launching Proof of Concept (PoC) projects to test their application and value in operations. You build the teams and competences needed to implement the PoC and later on scale if successful. Success in your role is defined by conclusively testing the application of digital technologies, and stimulating a diffusion of valuable new knowledge and applications in the organization.

The size of the Infuse team itself will depend on the number of PoCs and the needed capacities to realize those. To start, the scope of the Infuse work area will be Robotics and Automation with a PoC already completed and ready to be put in production across all plants. The person who is successful in this process will have the task to develop that scope to further PoCs in other technologies. You will be required to use Agile ways or working, as part of the overall Heat ambition in this area.

Your profile as Digital Transformation Manager

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Technical Science or relevant practitioner experience;
• Knowledge and experience of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, and predictive analytics;
• Knowledge of blockchain and smart Contracts programming would be beneficial;
• Experience from technology driven transformation; 
• Agile experience and/or certification (Scrum, Kanban etc);
• Fluent spoken and written English and Swedish, German, or Dutch language skills are a plus.

Location
The location of this position is in either Solna or Berlin and for the right candidate we would support with a relocation package if needed.
