We look for a person with a passion for test automation, integration, and troubleshooting to strengthen one of our test automation teams in our cloud journey. This position is for you who want to:

Job Description:

At Common Assets Services, within the PDU Component Development, our main mission is to accelerate the adoption of Component Based Architecture (CBA) in all relevant Ericsson products by providing Support, Education, CICD, and Test Services. At present CBA components are used in more than 35 different Ericsson applications.

Common Assets Services has also expanded its services into other ecosystems and is a main contributor to Application Development Platform (ADP).

At Common Assets Test Services, we perform daily “Continuous Component Aggregation” / "CI@scale" of CBA components and several different test services. Here several CBA components are combined and tested on several reference configurations (RDA), such as Ericsson Cloud Execution Environment (CEE) and VMware. In the reference configurations we describe the installation, configuration, and deployment of a CBA based application as well as the required IP network configuration. We are also responsible for the aggregated and fully automated CI machinery between components, including development of some common CI tools.

We work in Scrum teams according to agile principles, methods, and tools.

 

Responsibilities

  • Test framework maintenance and development
  • Troubleshoot and release of new reference configurations (RDA)
  • Use case analysis and test case development
  • Test execution and troubleshooting
  • CI development and visualization
  • Component integration in IaaS and PaaS environments

                                                          

Requirements

  • Great knowledge of object-oriented programming in Java and JCAT environment
  • Good knowledge of web development, including REST, Spring framework using Java, Junit, JavaScript, and Angular
  • Good knowledge of Elastic stack, MySQL, MongoDB, and Python
  • Good troubleshooting skills and knowledge of CBA based applications deployed on CEE or VMware
  • Good knowledge of working in a Linux environment
  • Good knowledge of working with testing at system use case level
  • Good knowledge in IP network configuration, focusing on layer 2 and 3
  • Experience of continuous integration, using Jenkins, GIT, Gerrit, Eiffel, RabbitMQ and Maven/Gradle
  • Experience of deployment of Microservices using Dockers and Kubernetes is a merit
