Om tjänsten

Scania’s approach for sustainable transports is that there is no single solution. We are performing different research and demonstration activities to test different technologies. In the electrification field we have the electric road in Gävle and our BEV buses in Östersund for example.

One big key success factor for our tests with new technology is that we work closely together with the customer and support our vehicles whenever there is an issue. We get fast feedback on the technology and can do updates during the tests.

We are now looking for more enthusiastic people to join our team to support the electrified drivetrain on our vehicles!

In this role you will be involved in a wide array of activities and cross functional work were you get the chance to learn and be a part of the shift towards sustainable transports.

We are looking for a person with an interest in complete vehicle systems, a doer, someone who can work independent, with knowledge of – or a will to learn more about – electrified vehicles.

Your tasks:

As a member of the Small eFleet support you will assist in start up of new electrified vehicles, making sure that the vehicle systems are working properly.

The main responsibility is support our research and demo/pilot vehicles at R&D and at the customer. Usually the vehicles are one of a kind with new functions or systems which means that trouble shooting can be a bit of a challenge.

The tasks may vary depending on assignment and the needs from the customer. And you need to be prepared to be where the customer is. The support might be to help the customer to understand how to use the vehicle, assist in driver training, solve issues on the vehicle, help set up the spare parts strategy at the workshop.

We are looking for:

You could be an experienced engineer with a good knowledge of the complete vehicle – bus or truck.

Maybe you have worked as a test engineer or with system development? Or maybe you just got your diploma and is eager to learn.

You have a pragmatic approach and come up with solutions when the normal processes do not apply.
