H&M New Business currently consist of seven separate brands: COS, & Other Stories, Monki, WEEKDAY, Cheap Monday, H&M Home, ARKET and Afound. 

We are now looking for a driven and passionate Interior Designer or Interior Architect with retail experience to join the Physical Store Concept Team at Afound.

In the role as Interior Designer/Interior Architect, your responsibilities will among others be:
  • Together with the members of the Store Concept team and other functions develop all areas of our recently launched retail concept.
  • Assume responsibility for parts of project on your own.
  • Deliver complete documentation of the interior design for tests carried out – from sketches and mood boards to production drawings and specifications.
  • Develop prototypes and fixtures in collaboration with manufacturers.
  • Evaluate tests  and prototypes and identify areas of improvement.
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
  • 3-5 years working experience from architectural or interior designfirm or similar with focus on design and development of furniture and fixtures.
  • Retail and spatial design experience, including layout skills.
  • Interior Design education or similar.
  • Knowledge and experience of Auto Cad, Adobe CS and 3D programs as Sketch Up or similar.
  • Fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages and have good English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Experience and interest in sustainability issues, materials and production.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel
