Nordea Corporate & Investment Banking is the leading financial advisor in the Nordic region. We offer advice to our clients in relation to public and private mergers & acquisitions (M&A) as well as initial public offerings and other equity-related transactions (ECM). Our solid deal experience and track-record coupled with the unmatched financial strength of the bank allows us to offer our clients a unique full-service proposition encompassing both advise and financing. Our pan-Nordic setup currently consists of approximately 100 employees across our offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Oslo.
Your future responsibilities
To accommodate a strong and growing pipeline of transactions we are looking for an Associate Director to join the Stockholm team. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the team and get the opportunity to lead some of the largest and most complex deals in the Nordic region.
What you will be doing:
- Project management of M&A and ECM transactions
- Demonstrate understanding of the commercial and financial considerations of our clients
- Suggest appropriate and alternative solutions to address client needs
- Co-ordinate, support and develop analysts and associates
- Entertain strong client relationships to win, sustain and develop new business
- Pro-actively identify new attractive transaction opportunities
- Build relationships and interact with other Nordea teams

- 6-8 years of experience within investment banking
- Proven project management and leadership skills
- Passion to develop analysts and associates
- Team player with a positive mindset

- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Fluent in at least Swedish and English
