H&M HOME is looking for an Assistant Buyer with experience from furniture and lighting i Stockholm

Are you passionate about interior design and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment? Are you experienced within product development of hard deco as furniture and lighting? Then you might be our new Assistant Buyer to H&M HOME!

H&M HOME is a brand within New Business in H&M Group, that currently consists of eight separate brands: COS, & Other Stories, H&M HOME, Monki, Weekday, Arket, Afound and Cheap Monday. Each brand has their own management team who sets the strategies and manages operations to ensure growth and profitability through colleagues, best customer offer, constant improvements and expansion.

As a group, we see great potential for H&M HOME to become a strong player in the global interior industry and are therefore investing in further developing and building the brand and its organization. Started in 2009 we are currently present on 47 markets through 345 shop-in-shops and on 42 markets online at hm.com/home. In 2018 we will open our first Concept Stores in several European cities, starting our journey of becoming a world class interior brand.

The role as Assistant Buyer

In the role as Assistant Buyer your main responsibilities are;

• Analyze selling figures and act to optimize the selling potential
• Together with our production offices follow up closely on our product developments to ensure on time deliveries
• As part of buying team and together with design make sure we have the best possible assortment and costumer offer

Your profile

To be successful in this role we think you have;

• Passion for interior design
• Experience from working as an assistant buyer, and/or have a proven buying education
• Experience from working with furniture and lighting products
• A strong customer focus, which includes, salesmanship, great commercial thinking and analytical ability
• Confidence in speaking and writing fluently in English

As a person you have a creative and curious mindset. You like to work in a team, see possibilities, improvements and find simple solutions together with others. You have strong communication skills, like to take initiatives and are flexible. Sustainability is a natural part of everything we do, why it’s important that you have a sustainable mindset.

This is a substitute position for approximately one year. Placement in H&M HOME’s personally designed head office in Stockholm city.
