If ready for a challenge, you should become our Head of Supply Chain Management at ABB Robotics in Sweden. Robotics develops, manufactures and markets robots and associated control systems, software, arc welding products, tracks and motor packages. The automotive industry and to an increasing extent general industry, such as the food industry, are automating their production with our robots. Over 90% of our production goes to export, and our robots and robotics are sold via local ABB companies and via independent systems integrators and OEM companies – companies we call our Partners.

In this position, you will establish and execute the SCM strategy in line with business targets. You will be overall responsible for developing the SCM organization focused on accountability, strong cross-functional team work, continuous improvement and performance culture, while securing capacity growth and production continuity. This also includes to further deploy strategic best practices across all factories, securing proper alignment and consistency. To be successful in this position, you will need to develop strong relationships with stakeholders within the global SCM function as well as other units within Robotics. Your team consists of 60 employees, with 5 managers reporting to you. You will contribute as an active member of the management team.

You are a confident challenger of the status quo and you have the ability to champion desired changes. With your continuous improvement mind-set and intercultural sensibility, you will achieve commitment as well as results.

We believe that you have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering. Hands on experience from different parts of operations in the value chain will be valued, as well as your proven leadership skills. Knowledge of Robotics and/or markets we supply an advantage, although we also value experience from other markets that can drive the SCM to the next level.
