The role

We are looking for an ambitious economics student to join us part-time as a Finance Assistant, working closely with our CFO across finance and business operations.

This is a broad role with real responsibility. You will get hands-on experience with the financial processes behind a growing technology company, while also helping make the day-to-day operation of the business run smoothly.

Finance

You will, among other things:

• Handle and follow up employee expenses
• Follow up accounts receivable and outstanding customer invoices
• Prepare payroll inputs
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare management reports and supporting material
• Compile and analyse financial data
• Support the CFO with ad-hoc financial and analytical tasks

Operations

You will also help with the practical side of running the company:

• Book business travel and hotels
• Organise team days, offsites and internal events
• Coordinate meetings and other practical arrangements
• Help keep the office running smoothly
• Take care of various administrative tasks when needed

The mix is intentional. We want someone who enjoys both working with numbers and making things happen.

Who are you?

You are studying economics, finance, accounting, business administration or a related field at university and are looking for a part-time role where you can apply what you are learning in a real business.

You are:

• Curious and genuinely interested in finance and how businesses operate
• Structured, accurate and dependable
• Comfortable taking ownership and working independently
• A problem solver who figures things out rather than waiting for instructions
• Happy switching between analytical work and practical tasks
• A strong communicator in both Swedish and English
• Ambitious and eager to learn

Previous experience in finance, accounting or administration is a plus, but it is not a requirement. We care more about how you think, learn and take responsibility than about having the perfect CV.

You will work directly with the CFO and get a broad view of finance in a technology company - from transactions and customer payments to payroll, reporting and closing.

At the same time, you will see how the financial side connects to the people, customers and operations that make the business work.

The practical stuff

• Location: Stockholm
• Hours: Approximately 8-10 hours per week
• Schedule: Spread across at least two weekdays
• Work setup: Primarily on-site. Remote work can occasionally be arranged by agreement.
• Compensation: Hourly pay
• Start: As soon as possible / by agreement
• Reporting to: CFO
